Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or pick-up from your hotel, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey north.

The first highlight awaits at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will track endangered southern white rhinos on foot a rare and memorable experience that contributes directly to rhino conservation in Uganda.

Continue the scenic drive through Masindi town and enter Murchison Falls National Park through Kichumbanyobo Gate.

Enjoy the lush wilderness as you head toward the ferry crossing that leads to the wildlife-rich northern sector of the park.

Check in at your luxury lodge and later head out for a sunset game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, lions, hartebeests, and abundant birdlife as the sun paints the savannah in golden hues.

Day 2: Game Drive, Nile Boat Cruise & Hike to the Falls

Begin your day early with a game drive on the northern savannah plains of Murchison Falls.

This area presents the best opportunity to spot Rothschild’s giraffes, large elephant herds, buffalo, lions, leopards, warthogs, and many antelope species.

Binoculars are essential here, as the birdlife includes the African fish eagle, Abyssinian ground hornbill, and saddle-billed stork.

After lunch, embark on a classic boat cruise along the River Nile, sailing toward the base of the roaring Murchison Falls.

Along the riverbanks, you will encounter large pods of hippos, sunbathing crocodiles, and many aquatic birds.

The cruise leads to a spectacular viewpoint where you will disembark and begin a guided hike to the top of the falls.

Witness the awe-inspiring moment when the Nile squeezes through a narrow 7–8 meter gorge before exploding into a thunderous waterfall.
