Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

Your 4 Day Lake Mburo & Lake Bunyonyi Safari begins early in the morning as your driver-guide from Ngeye Tours and Travel picks you from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. After a briefing, you begin your scenic 4–5 hour journey southwest toward Lake Mburo National Park. The drive offers captivating views of rolling hills, farms, and rural life an excellent introduction to Uganda’s warm countryside. Along the way, you may stop at the famous Equator line for photographs, coffee, and a brief geographical demonstration. As you approach the park, acacia woodlands and open plains become more visible, giving you your first taste of Uganda’s savannah ecosystem.
